Stig have been driving virtually everycar to go around this track, Renault F-1, Enzo, MC12, CGT... you name it. He can do it with one hand.

I think this is first car he lost control, whatever reason. (note: he nearly crashed the GTI at the finish line last time due to a bump on the sidetrack)

Interestingly, this very same car got broken down in the hands of Tiff during the fifth gear test run. It was found to be a clutch problem.

Punchline: Both top gear and fifth gear cannot complete the lap with this car.

Koenigsegg once the fastest production car? maybe on the straight line

good lap time with bends? I doubt about that. Way to go for the swedish engineers.

Later in the show Clarkson explained it was the lack of a rear spoiler (no down-force in the rear) that caused the Koenigsegg to spin out. Koenigsegg will fix the car up with a rear spoiler and will let them test drive it again on the track at a later time.

They test the Koenigsegg again on Top Gear this week (with a spoiler added) and set a new lap time record.
